Large regional enamelled fish pans in rose gold (750 thousandths). Large regional enameled earrings, called poissardes, decorated in the center with a blue, green and white enameled pansy, encircled by a midnight-blue enameled frieze punctuated with gold dots. The main motif is framed by two stars on a picté gold background. Regional Poissardes, circa 1940/1950, States of Savoy, Sardinia.  Eagle head facing left hallmark (French State hallmarks for 18 karat gold produced between 1824-1860 in Savoy and Sardinia). Dimensions: 47 mm x 19 mm  Condition: slightly misaligned attachments, wear scratches Weight : 4.91 gr  *The antique case is not sold with the jewel*. Find out more about poissardes : Poissardes probably have their origins in the polished mussel shell earrings worn by fish market vendors. It was a sign of recognition. Over time, the "shell" design evolved and became more refined, as did the material, changing fromsteel to gold. As for Bresse enamels, a typical Burgundian craft, they were sold by the slab to other jewelers all over France to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches and more. Returns:
You can return your order within 14 days after receipt of the package, provided that the product has not been worn and that the jewelry has its original packaging (label, plastic and pouch).

Authentication & Certification
