The guy who had her for 7 months and that disliked her to the point to say that I lied to him selling him a very UGLY and out of STANDARD crested, with a terrible topline a BAD front a very UGLY rear and awful coat, decided after I promised him to send him the whole money he payed for her and have her back here, to not TAPE her ears anymore, he said TWO months with no tape, so her ears are HALF way UP or DOWN ....... I am taping her ears again HOPING she will put them UP that half way !!!!!!!!
I have to admit that Elektra seems to have been well cared (except for the ears taping) and that I was EXPECTING to get a sort of "monster" according to the guy´s description ........ but ........ it is NOT the case ......... is Elektra a BEST IN SHOW crested ???????? I have NO IDEA !!!! Probabilly NOT of course !!!!!! ANY dog is a BIS winner UNLESS wins a BIS :-))))))
Her front is NOT perfect, but is NOT awful at all, and she is still young and I am positive that it will be much better in a few months, her TOPLINE is GOOD !!!!!! So is her REAR, maybe NOT perfect of course, but GOOD !!!!!!! Her tail set and carriage is WONDERFUL and her coat will need some care but her mom Carmen and her aunt Lola had the SAME kind of coat at her age and after they both had WONDERFUL coats !!!!!!!
All in all, Elektra is FAR better than her mom Carmen is, and Carmen needed only one CAC to be a Spanish Champion when I decided to stop showing her, she did not really ENJOYED the show part and after having her puppies (Elektra and Salome) and according to the former owner of Elektra and trusting him about her BAD quality, I placed Carmen as a PET with Manel (my friend and housemate)´mom. She will be spayed in the next weeks. LOLA, Carmen´s littermate was also placed in a pet home where she is a QUEEN, and she is SPAYED.
I would have LOVED to see pics of Elektra since she left here at 3 months and BEFORE I got the pics her former owner sent to me a month ago with her looking really SAD and UGLY on a table pic, half groomed and dryed. But I decided to believe what the guy was telling me about how UGLY Elektra was, because I did not see any reason for him to lie.
This has been the FIRST time I had a problem like that with somebody and I hope to do not have any other in the future because it has been a nightmare, and, according to her former owner, it has also been a nightmare for him .... oh well ...... she is BACK and he has HIS MONEY BACK, so I guess all is well now.
